Maggie & Aaron | Pittsburgh Riverwalk

Maggie and Aaron were one of three couples who won a free engagement session after entering our Valentine's Day giveaway, and gosh, they were just fantastic to photograph! They were comfortable being fully themselves-- smooching, snuggling and dancing not only in front of me, with a camera, but also in front of Pittsburgh passersby enjoying the day along the river front.

With their permission, I get to share Maggie and Aaron's love story with you!

"My fiancé and I have a pretty typical love story... Boy signs up for Tinder. Girl does, too. They both swipe right! (Okay so it’s not traditional but it is how we met!)

After our first date, I immediately wanted to see him again. On our second date, he 1) broke his debit card and 2) broke his car stereo on the drive home. Somehow he didn't see these as omens and asked me out again. During that text conversation, I knew he was something special.

Fast forward two more years and a million dates later. We’re camping at one of our favorite little state parks - Keystone. We went on the hike we always do when we camp there. Halfway through the hike, he asked me if I wanted a snack. Of course, I said yes. Then he got down on one knee and proposed! And of course, I said YES!"

We rendezvoused on the North Shore because they requested some images with the Pittsburgh-scape behind them and a few near PNC Park. As dedicated "yinzers" and lovers of baseball, this was the perfect location for these two because everything they wanted was an easy walk away from one another.

Aren't they just perfect together!?

I was so impressed by their dancing skills under the enormous PNC Park sign. When I ask couples to dance together during their session, sometimes it makes them nervous. Why are we so self-conscious about our dancing?! Take it from Maggie and Aaron-- just have fun with it!

Also, don't tell but we may have snuck up the stairs, stepping over a couple of barriers in PNC Park for a photo or two for our baseball fanatic couple. Totally worth it.
